"If I go, there's just no telling how far I'll go" - Moana

Moana is a princess of the Motonui Island community and soon to be the first female chief of her Polynesian tribe. She is wavering between her longing desire to go beyond the reefs and explore the outer world and her destiny to become the next leader of her tribe.

The story begins when she accepts the quest to find Maui, the legendary demigod, and forces him to return the heart of Te Fiti to its rightful place in Motonui. This adventurous quest takes the viewer through a series of highs and lows backed by beyond-the-norm visuals and catchy tunes. And of course, we cannot ignore the scene-stealing Hei Hei the chicken.

Moana is way beyond the stereotypical princess who is in need of rescue. She is a brave and tactical girl who lives up to the challenge. She follows her heart and finds her own identity to be the leader of her tribe on her own terms.
