No One Knew by Dishendrie Perera

The times she cried
The times she tried
No one ever knew,
No one ever wanted to know either,
She went to the burning hell, the hell of expectations
And came back as a different person,
she built her own paradise, the paradise of hope,
Yet no one knew
No one ever wanted to know,
She practiced what she preached,
She was her very own motivator,
She was grateful towards every second of life,
She never gave up,
Not because it was the one and only option she had,
Yet it was her one and only dream,
It was what she was born for,
It was what she lived for,
When people told she is not good enough
She kept silence and she smiled,
When people doubt her capabilities
She kept quiet,
She fought with her own inner-demons,
She challenged her own self,
Amidst of her vulnerabilities she arose again,
She bounced back stronger than ever,
Now she knows what she is doing
Yet still, you the stranger might not know her,
It will be so hard to drag her down!
